About

Adam Stetzer, Ph.D.

Adam Stetzer is a researcher, entrepreneur, technologist, family guy and community advocate with a Ph.D. and a career built at the intersection of rigorous scholarship, humanism, technology, community and real-world impact.

He completed his undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo, an experience that shaped both his academic perspective and his personal sensibilities — including a lasting appreciation for the arts and community-driven culture. Adam pursued his Ph.D. at Purdue University, where he deepened his commitment to research and intellectual inquiry. The emphasis of his scholarly work was on Organizational Culture.

Throughout his career, Adam has applied his research training to entrepreneurial endeavors, combining data-driven thinking with a passion for building things that matter. He believes that excellence is not an isolated achievement but a product of sustained habit, disciplined effort, and genuine curiosity. Over the many years of working with organizations on their cultures, he has gained a deep appreciation for the importance of community and the critical role leadership plays in nurturing belonging.

Adam and his wife Renee live in Rochester, NY, where they raise two children. They are also actively involved in efforts to revitalize and advocate for their city in various ways. Professionally, Adam has built and sold two businesses — both of which emphasized a positive employee culture as a key component — using technology as an accelerator in both cases.

Outside of work, Adam is an avid guitarist, wingfoiler, yoga enthusiast, world traveler, and lover of the Adirondack Mountains — pursuits that reflect his belief in living with intention and embracing the full range of human experience.
